I picked this up on Ebay last week. Fiberfab built in 1982 on a 1967 VW chassis with a 1641cc engine. It needs some love as it suffers from some serious neglect. Having some shifter issues and a few oil leaks but nothing that can’t be remedied. I have to say, the grin factor is off the charts.

Mine was in MUCH, MUCH worse condition — and still is, as far as that goes…Early FF TDr on 69 VW pan

"Drive Happy"September 24, 2013 at 8:27 pm #257854She looks very viable. Probably needs a shift bushing & some gaskets.
Let us know how the R&R goes.September 25, 2013 at 2:14 pm #257855I like that wood dash, wish mine had that 🙁
September 25, 2013 at 2:49 pm #257856Eddy, welcome.
I think that I finally figured it out. We all (at least most) love the look of a black car (thanks to Henry). And we all (or at least most) love the classic look of a wooden boat. But….most of us buy a white (or at least a lighter color) one because we’re too lazy to keep either a black car or a wooden boat looking good. Good luck.September 25, 2013 at 3:34 pm #257857Hey! I resemble that remark. Especially the lazy part.

September 25, 2013 at 5:02 pm #257859Mine is black, could we trade? LOL

September 26, 2013 at 8:40 pm #257860Apparently my wife was right when she said my vision was getting as bad as my hearing. It looked black to me at first, but now that I know differently I can see it’s green. Regardless, Mike, you have a sharp-looking set o’ wheels there. Drive with pride!
