    @huskykicker

    I picked this up on Ebay last week. Fiberfab built in 1982 on a 1967 VW chassis with a 1641cc engine. It needs some love as it suffers from some serious neglect. Having some shifter issues and a few oil leaks but nothing that can’t be remedied. I have to say, the grin factor is off the charts.

    Very nice looking car — I can see why you’re so excited about it.  Though you say it needs TLC, it appears to be very complete and a great starting point…

    Mine was in MUCH, MUCH worse condition — and still is, as far as that goes…

    Excellent TD you have there. Give her a name, some TLC and enjoy the smiles and thumbs up!

    Another vote for glossy black with a tan interior! Nice-looking dash, too. Wishing you endless miles of smiles!

    She looks very viable. Probably needs a shift bushing & some gaskets.

    Let us know how the R&R goes.

    Eddy, welcome.

    I think that I finally figured it out.  We all (at least most) love the look of a black car (thanks to Henry). And we all (or at least most) love the classic look of a wooden boat.  But….most of us buy a white (or at least a lighter color) one because we’re too lazy to keep either a black car or a wooden boat looking good.  Good luck.

    Hey! I resemble that remark.  Especially the lazy part.  LOL

    Sorry to disappoint but the car is dark green, not black. Sort of wish it was black now.

    Apparently my wife was right when she said my vision was getting as bad as my hearing. It looked black to me at first, but now that I know differently I can see it’s green. Embarrassed Regardless, Mike, you have a sharp-looking set o’ wheels there. Drive with pride!
