October 1, 2013 at 9:58 am #234932Ed’s done a fantastic job doing calendars the past couple of years and I still have mine (this years is still in use). So can we talk Ed into doing a 2014 calendar? I sure hope we can. So to start it off, Sir Ed, I’ll take two orders please. And I might even send in a couple of photos of Moneypenny in work for you to decide on. What say ye Ed?

“Old Topic New Thread” was not going to help anyone find a thread about a calendar for next year.Paul Mossberg

October 1, 2013 at 11:12 am #257906Paul. That’s cool. I wasn’t imaginative enough to figure how to roll that topic to the forefront.

"Drive Happy"October 1, 2013 at 9:20 pm #257908Guys, I was hoping someone else might take it on this year. But whoever ends up doing the thing, everyone on site ought to start weeding through your pics looking for likely shots. More pixels is better. And think about background. And think about maybe something other than the standard 3/4 shot from standing height. Different angles, closeup on a detail.
Action shots. Action shots.Put them in a spacial file on your hard drive & we’ll see who to send them to.October 1, 2013 at 11:34 pm #257909Sounds like a plan.

"If one thing matters, everything matters" - from the book The ShackOctober 7, 2013 at 11:41 am #257910I will buy one for 2014. The current one graces my office at home next to the oak rolled-top desk, with a Franklin Mint MG TD in a display case on top.
December 2, 2013 at 10:40 pm #257911Well, I’ve not seen any photos from anyone as of yet. Are we sending them to someone else this year?
December 3, 2013 at 3:23 am #257912I believe you took my submission in VA.

"Drive Happy"December 4, 2013 at 8:48 am #257919Thanks to contributors so far.
More more more!So far, every year I’ve had to scrimp and steal to get 13 big-enough photos without over-featuring my own car and maybe a couple others. The goal is at least 12 different cars and 12 different settings. It is harder than it seems. Thanks to John, Bill and Paul for recent submissions. Several of those should work well.Remember too, all y’all: photos of the car in motion, with you (or someone) in it, are gold. Also potential gold: detail shots, and pictures from the shop. I’d like to make these calendars reflect the whole world of TD replicas, from the picnic by the lake to the front beam r&r.Keep ’em coming.December 9, 2013 at 9:03 pm #257920Draft. Several of you (and you know who you are) have responded with splendidly splendid pics over the past week or so. But still: many repeats of setting and subject.
Those who have not contributed (and even those who have): please step in with more photos of your (and others’) cars in action and at rest.My pics so far:cover:JAN:FEB:MARCH:APRIL:and can’t load any more pics until I delete some….December 9, 2013 at 9:13 pm #257921Way cool, Ed.

How about “2014 MG TDr Calendar” instead of “MGs”
Roy coined the phrase. I like the “TDr” concept.

"Drive Happy"December 10, 2013 at 7:49 am #257925Ed. You don’t like Flamingos? I kinda like Bill showing that you’re #1! I have a few of my build but they’re not large enough.

"If one thing matters, everything matters" - from the book The ShackDecember 10, 2013 at 8:07 am #257926Keep ’em coming, gents. I will have to go through my own archive on this site and delete a bunch of pics–I hit my 100 mb limit yesterday–then I’ll post a few more contenders. There will be changes:
1. Bill’s finger shot might be too small. I’ve got the same pic just before the finger came out & might dub that in.2. Bill sent a real nice shot of Paul behind the wheel of his car, driving on the road wearing what looks like a Cossock’s hat.3. I have a good shot of Gabor’s interior. That car absolutely needs its own month. Will advise.December 10, 2013 at 11:01 am #257927Hey Ed,
I have quite a few shots from the Va Beach show…I can put them on an SD card and mail the card to you. They may just be duplicates of what you already have, but if you are interested, send me an email with your address.Jack(by the way, pics of my BCW extended back end are in my camera and Ijust have to work on getting them from the camera to the computer to the site…hopefully later today.)December 10, 2013 at 4:33 pm #257928Ed,I have a couple I will try and send you by email
