Any one know if the MGTF kit using the Miata doner is still avaible?
Or were to find in US? ThanksOctober 3, 2014 at 9:56 am #261629The only one I’ve seen in person is the Miata based New Zealand based T.G.Sports.
The cars occasionally show up on ebay and other sale sitesThere is the MGB based Victor. Victor later became Great Lakes Motorcars. But the company is closed.A forum member, bcliff, owns one:Here’s a pretty accurate history of Victory/Great Lakes:And a quick search uncovered the Triumph based Gentry Motor Car Company in the UK:PMOSSBERG2014-10-03 10:05:30

Bob was from Nova Scotia. Are you sure his car was from a Canadian manufacturer?PMOSSBERG2014-10-03 15:07:13

October 3, 2014 at 5:53 pm #261632They were made in New Zealand originally, I believe, but for some years have been produced in Malaysia. Don’t think they’re available in the U.S. or Canada, but I could be wrong. When I tried to click on their website, McAfee warned against it and then quarantined two infected files that tried to download on my PC, so be careful there.

I seem to remember that the NZ company had offered its molds, etc for sale, but don’t know what happened. The US rep used to advertise in Kit Car Builder mag. If you have old issues, you’ll probably see their ad.
