    Found this old photo of Toshiro Mifune (1920-1997) driving his MG-TD on the set of Yojimbo 1961. 
    Directed by Kurosawa Akira (1910-1998).  For all you old guys that used to watch B&W Japanese Samuri movies with English sub-titles.  Guess those old MG’s had some universal appeal.

    Thanks for posting the picture, Bill.  That was always one of my favorite foreign films.  A couple of years back I watched Sergio Leone’s “A Fistful of Dollars” with my son, who pointed out the fact that it was essentially the same movie in a Western setting.

    But I never knew about the car.

    That has to be one of the coolest photos ever.  I grew up watching Toshiro Mifune movies, I even had a cat named after him, but I never knew he had an MG.
