Don’t know about you guys, but gas out here in The Inland Empire of S/Cal is approaching $3.000/gal again, and I keep hearing about the surplus, but it is still rising.
All that I heard when gas was well below $3.00 a gallon was that it wouldn’t last long. Oil companies have large tankers sitting off-shore just waiting for prices to rise again. I won’t be surprised to see $4/gal or even higher soon.
The way I understand it. The price of gas is affected by the place you sit in the pipeline . I live in Western NY . There are 2 refineries within a hour and a half of my town. The one in Niagara Falls is the last in the oil pipe line .The pipeline goes through Syracuse , Rochester then Buffalo . The price of gas is 3.65 near by . Our government says they are trying to solve this .
