    Probably the beginning of the “last really nice days of the year”.Cry
    While there I stopped and took a few pics.

    Fun stuff! I’ve been going to the covered bridges around here by motorcycle, within only 100 miles or so of home, for a few years now. Had wanted to do that since the 1980’s when I saw some locations in a road atlas.

    Been thinking of doing same using the old car too.

    I like the color of your car, it took me a moment to realize the bridge looks the exact same color in that photo! My grandfather had a maroon 1969 Chevelle Malibu when I was a kid, really liked that car, so maybe that’s why.
    I’m going to a “Covered Bridge Festival” next month at a town where a cluster of those bridges are, which are actually the ones from the old road atlas I first learned of. Minus one or two lost since that time, making me want to sight-see what I can find while they still exist. Likewise farther from home as well.
    Luckily the end of pre-Winter weather here is closer to November than September… if you ignore the people (me included) already wearing jackets after sunset.
