Seems he has one left. There are other similar sellers but make sure it’s real leather not imitation or the iron on process will melt it. Also make note of mfrs logos location. Iron on might not hide…[Read more]

Found this tool rollup on Ebay for about 25.00. Seller described it as for motorcyclists but it slips nicely under the passenger seat. The logo is an iron on transfer I printed from a stock internet image. Sticks nicely to the leather. I need to manhandle the kit with dirty hands to give it some “authentic patina”!

The outside of the car can easily be cleaned with a Spray-on wash. I like the Griot’s Garage products and microfiber cloths. I have cleaned my wire hub caps with Griot’s Iron and Fallout remover. For glass, I like Invisible Glass that dries streak free.

Another newbie here! I’ve been working this deal for a couple of years now. Finally picked up a 52 mgtd(r) on a ‘70 VW chassis. I’ll be scouring these boards for the next year while I go through the frame-off resto. Love to post pics, but all of my tech savvy is used up in the garage…..
