Ed, I see that you registered as an MG BCW 52.  Do you think that it would be better if I registered as an MG MiGi 52?  (Don’t forget that though I am old(er) I am a novice at this car show stuff with Carlisle being my first.  I tried to make sure that they knew that MiGi was a replica.  I hope that they “seat” us all together.

Dick, I guess your new shocks are shorter than the old ones??  Please tell us the nitty gritty of how you determined what the problem was and how you corrected it.  

Wow. Problem solved!  Thanks for all the help.  I installed Monroe 5811s on the front.  The steering bounce is gone, and while the ride is still stiff, the improvement in steering is much improved, like in fantastic.

I guess I should start this as the Build Part 2 but I’ll save that for the next step. However, my front beam is finished and setting in the sun letting the paint cure. Tomorrow I’ll touch up any missed spots and Monday after work start the Build Part 2…Assembling the chassis. Little by little I’m eating this elephant.
