Allen -Thanks the girls do enjoy getting out in the MG especially in the morning or late evening. The white or silver trim is not the same as the piping between the body and fenders.
Greg glad you are on the road .. Yes our TD’s do look very similiar. My dash is formica.. – I would love to take out the radio and replace it with a glove box… -

OK, when I buy both of these, nether Ray nor Allen get to drive the second truck!

John somebody looks very happy sitting in the TD.
Question on your car. You have white trim around the door edge. Is that the same white welting between the body and fenders? newkitman2012-07-29 18:12:00

jebarry,
Our cars are so indentical is scarry right down to the hubcaps ,i did paint the red in the spinners to british green. Do you think the dash is real wood? -
billnparts replied to the topic Removing wire from headlight harness in the forum Chevy/Ford Kits 13 years, 9 months ago
OK, Ive done this. At the connector that plugs into the headlamp bulb remove the three terminalsfrom the connector. Remove the wire from the terminal. Reroute your wires through the new bracket, resolder the wires to the terminals, put the terminals back into the connector, plug the bulb back in.Illuminating.

I’ll chase down the other end to see how difficult it looks.thanks for the heads up on the replacement smoke kit! However, I also own a ’49 Hydra-Glide, which provides me an abundance of replacement smoke as needed (and then some).

If that fails just cut it and splice it back on when you’re done. Or you could start all over with genuine Lucas bullet connectors. They are of…[Read more]
