I almost hate to ask, but….if you click on a members name and then on “members profile” you are given a page that shows: PMOSSBERG “Points 2100” and on the next line “Posts 2057”. If points are posts, then what are posts? …..or is this one of those “things that will be revealed………..”???

Today i got my car back with a new fuel pump in it.It runs great. The only thing it does now is a little backfiring not bad. It did it a little last year then it quit hopefully the same this year we will see. 50 degrees in buffalo ny put on winter clothes and went for a ride 70 degrees forcast for monday out for coffee my wife seems excited and so am i.

I realize this may be to late.But should help in the future.

Next time buy the brake line with the needed bubble flare,Then cut to length and double flare the other end.There is nothing in books,or in stone that says both ends of a brake line need be flared the same.

If the wires are the same color, put on a dab of your wife’s nail polish on the wire and where you took it off to match them up again. Use different colors for different wires of you have many of them.Coils are a funny thing. I bought them thru MG magic.the price was not that bad. the rims look real good, haven’t mounted them yet. I will let you know who made them when i get back to town.

Sometimes you just gotta say “WTF”?How many of you counted the spokes? I know I did. Seems to me sixteen sets of three spokes is a total of 48!Maybe it’s that “modern math!

It is indeed a nice car and the front engined Classic Roadsters are pretty rare too. In the thread on wire wheels,it appears that they would cost about $2000. Bill, I get that also. Just ignore it and go to the upper right and click on Photo Gallery. Takes you right to it.

Well got back in town and my friend came over and fixed th problem.

First the coil and electronic ignition that I took out for some went bad.

Second he went over all the items I put in and checked the distrib. and that was in right. We had current etc. at the coil but still no spark from the coil to the distrib.

Nice looking car.

Classic Roadsters Duchess. And like a lot of them, sits a bit high in the rear (too much room between rear fenders and tires). But overall looks like a nice car.
