Allen I have the ahooga type horn on mine and although it is not extremely loud the sound is so out of place it seems to get everyones attention. Kids love it and I have to admit I am a large child and like it too. I have been giving thought to adding airhorns, wiring them to the center horn button for ease of reach and putting the klaxon type…[Read more]

If I heard the “ahoooga” I’d be looking around for a Model T, mine are the loudest air type I could find at the time. When they go off EVERYONE looks and moves.

Questions for you horn officiandos. Do you recommend the “Ahoooga” air horn or the standard air horn? I’m thinking the dual chrome air horn kit from MG Magic. I have a dual air horn set but one of the plastic horns has a long crack in the bell and one doesn’t work. Also, do you have a separate button for the air horn or just run the horn from the…[Read more]

I live in rural eastern NC and my property is several acres of woodlands. I
fear I may be on wrong end of a catch and release program. I have eaten
squirrel stew but it is not one of my favorites to say the least. The nearest
storage rental units are quite a distance from me but that may be the best
final solution. In the meantime I will try the…[Read more] -

dbrock, maybe a little shifty too.
I have to make another one now. One of the guys at work has a 65 Nova with has a 4 speed all I have to do is put a sleeve inside and a place for set screws at the base. This one should be cake, no engineering a button to push. Now I’m glad I grabbed several pieces of wood to play with. -

You could try live animal traps,a box trap is easy enough to make. And then do the animal freindly thing and take a drive to the country and let them go.Or stew is a good chioce also.
peanuts is a good choice for bait as well as peanut butter,or a cob of corn. -

I have a similar problem with feral cats. Mine sit outside with covers, but I’ve found a cat running for it’s life when I start lifting the cover off.

That airbag suit seems to be for motorcyclists thrown off of their bike, when the key attachment is broken or pulled.I’m not so sure it would work for a side or frontal impact in one of our fiberglass TDs.

Lends a little class to being “shiftless”!

Unique, and truly excellent! I like the shift boot, too.

That is absolutely gorgeous, Mark! I don’t know what the “before” version looked like, but this one blows me away.
One question: Can you fit side curtains on it with the mirrors mounted on the cowl like that? Or do you, like me here in Southeast Texas, rarely run with windows at all?

“Spendy” — an odd word that I’ve only recently started to see. I like it. I used to consider this hobby “expensive,” but “spendy” seems much less judgmental.

Montie: Great job! This is why I love this hobby–duffers like us can just, ya know, try stuff. And more often then not, the result is something to be proud of. Very cool.

Chains…here in Georgia? Shoot…they forecast a snow flurry down here and they shut down the state. You probably have more snow removal gear in your town than they have in the whole state here.

Yes. They now make “airbag” suits as well–spendy but would totally pay for itself the first time you avoid death or a TBI.

Thanks guy’s for the in put.
Alan the trim is easy. You can get it a almost any auto supply store. Its 1/4 inch wide and just sticks on. You can take it off without harming you paint etc. If you go to Autozone or Advanced auto just ask for chrome wheel well trim. Comes in various sizes but I found 1/4 inch wide looks the best. The back fe…[Read more] -

That’s a great looking TD. And yet another TD with trim on the front fender. How do they do that?
