Awesome. Still, it’s $5 plus the $500 or $1000 for a good air compressor. I’ll put it on my list of reasons to buy a compressor.

Rocky,
Great job – I know how hard it is as I am doing it for the second time right
now – looks great and will be worth it all when you drive off for the first time
– looking forward to those pictures as well. Don’t forget to take pictures of
your kids and yourself working together – I wish I would have taken more w/
mine during the process. -

Take pictures, people! Get at least 1 megabyte, better with 2 or 2.5. email them to me. If you don’t have my email, pm me and I’ll send it.A word on “rust”:I know that some of you–probably most of you–extol that concourse-fresh, toothbrush-in-every-cranny, untouched-by-human-ass look we all admire at Barrett Jackson’s auctions & Pebble Beach…[Read more]

Keep up the good work Rocky. The chassis typically never gets the attention that the body gets so a great chassis will help the car last for a long time. A little extra time now is going to pay a ton of benifits later.

I’d buy one. My London Roadster wouldn’t look too good with a duller finish and some rust on the wire wheel covers. The hot rod is a bit shiney with a new coat of wax, but maybe I’ll take her out this weekend for a spin, and be extra careful with the brakes.

I know it’s “just the chassis”, but you are doing beautiful work! It’s almost a shame the chassis will be covered up!

Chrome on black is very understated. It will drive people nuts at shows. “Chrome where you can’t see it? That’s hard core. I can respect that.”

Nice! it’s all looking so good. Thanks too for that link to the a-arms with ball joints. I don’t understand why he has three overlapping packages for either $160 or half that, but at least they’re available. Good find.

Glad to have you on the forum. Try E-bay and Craigslist.Hopefully some one here knows of one in the general area.If you find one that’s too far away for you to go look at, a member of the forum who is closer to it may be able to check it out for you.Try not to depend completely on the information in an ad . Some sellers are ”less than tr…[Read more]
