If anyone is seriously interested, the car is about 50-60 miles from me. I would be willing to look at it for you.

Mathew: PM me if you decide to check it out. I work odd hours, but would be willing to go along or meet you there and give you the benefit of what (little) I’ve learned about TD replicas since buying mine in 2007. If nothing else, a second pair of eyes can’t hurt.

Thanks for posting the pics…I was not able to get them to work properly on the forum.
Yes, I believe that is the model, I have owned it for 2 years, purchased from the original owner in Indianapolis, she owned it since it was built, we just do not have the time to devote to the car and I hate to see it sit in the garage.
Has roughly 35K miles,…[Read more] -

Like Paul said ,it is a Classic Roadster Duchess, one of the better replicas. A great looking car except for the side curtains and they offer GREAT visibility .
Ed’s price $3000 would be a reasonable starting point, and a meeting somewhere in the middle might be acceptable.
If you could hear it run ,it would give you a better feel for what you a…[Read more] -

Farm country roads are the best for these cars.

In your opinions, how much is it worth? I’m thinking about buying it.
This would be my first kit car and im having a hard time finding similar

Paul,
I agree, most everything has a price. 20-25 k would be hard to turn down. -

The ads are marked “sold” but that does not mean they sold for the prices shown. And as much as I hope it’s true…I don’t believe it.But if they are…if anyone wants my Duchess for “only” $20k consider her sold!!!!

“Wind Wings”– Moss has them– mucho $$. Maybe ebay? Someone here made a nice set out of some plexi, as I recall it….To your steering wheel angle: Look how it’s put together. My best guess is the guy who built it put a short shaft from the dash through the firewall, very low, and then put a universal joint just the other side of it and ran a…[Read more]

Speaking of screens, my new TD replica does not have the side
screens on the windscreen. Where might find those? -

Yep, my TD would loose in a fight!
Two couples in their 70’s got out of this Chevy and went into the Diner. Retirement must be nice! I’ll have to check out that Citroen site. Here’s a pic of my TD with a Corvette in a used car lot.

Connections shouldn’t wiggle. Was the cable loose on the post or did the post move?
You will be amazed at how comparable the cost of a new cable is to a set of connectors. On the rack at Autozone, Pep Boys and your favorite auto parts store.
If the post in the battery is moving around you need a battery. One the shelf alongside battery cables. -

Yup. That’s a 58. It looks like an aircraft carrier next to your TD.
Have you looked at Citroen 2CV sites? Owners delight in posing their cars alongside large vehicles, usually with the same color scheme.
