Great idea, Montie.  My insurance company wouldn’t insure over $5,000 based on my purchase price for my London Roadster.

I think I’ll print a copy of that 23,950 one and give to my insurance company. 

Anyone else notice the windshield, looks like they added about 4″ at the top.  ?????
I like the idea of the turbo, got a friend that want to add that to mine, but I cruise about 45 max.

That puppy will roar with a 2.3 l engine turbo charged.

The starter would not turn over this morning at first.  I wiggled the negative connection just a bit and it started the engine on my next try.

About the pounding comment. The battery posts are attached to the plates at either end of the battery. They can be broken internally by beating on the cable terminal to make it tight. Cables/connectors are cheap enough.
No pounding.

$13,900? Really? Um….NO way! I wish these cars were worth $13,900. And sure hope he gets it. But this owner is shooting way high.

I don’t mind finding a car with some needs, the problem was that it was touted as A1, plus I trailered out my Vette 4 hrs one way fully intent on the trade. And then being insulted!

Not sure what you’re saying. Post a photo?My general advice is to put the biggest banjo wheel on it you can fit. But I think everyone already knows that; it’s actually my answer to pretty much every problem.

Ray10, That one seems way over priced.  Lights and fuel gauge not working?  Maybe $3-4K if they were.  

Sorry for you troubles, man. The condition of the car sounds fairly typical, really. They all have pitting chrome, dried out bushings and need brakes.Hope you find one that’s all done–or at least at a price that’s reasonable.
