I had the car from about mid-1993 to about 2000. Sad, I really should remember exact dates. I do know my daughter was still on baby food when I bought it.
We were in Florida. We had run out of milk for Lauren. I ran out to some convenience store and while I waited for the clerk I grabbed a Want Ad Press. Flipping through it…there was the Jovi.…[Read more] -

Thanks, Dan. It’s the walnut piece that came with the kit in 1980, I think. Delaminating a bit in the left corner but otherwise still pretty nice.

I was lucky to get the stereo in. I thought that was a big job, a complete dash, Not sure I’m up for that.

Thanks.Just fitting the instruments now & chasing down electrical gremlins. But yes. The plan is to make a new dash–I have the wood for it–including a glove box. Hope to be done in a few months. Probably not by Carlisle, but maybe, if I get a some lucky breaks.Mean time I hope to get the car back driveable in the coming weeks using the old…[Read more]
