Dick ; I had that same trouble, check your thermostat , I also made a shroud around the fan, A cut down 5 gallon bucket to fit around the fan and the both helped to keep the engine cooler and have not any more over heat trouble , heat will also cause loss of oil pressure , Dan R.

Does the speedo have “dip” switches? or is it digital (electronic) odometer and analog (needle) mph indicator?

I have an idea it may or may not work you could ask your local police to check your speed by radar to see where your spedo is at,it may take a few times but may help. Dan R. ps. good luck buy donuts!!

Bob;If your bracket is like mine I used 3M molding tape, the reason I made these was to tighten the bracket a little and dress it up a bit. I can make you a set for ? I guess 25.00 it will also cover the stress cracks at least it covered the ones I had.the size is 2 1/2 X 1 1/2 ovel with a cuped shape to contour to the fender. I can do it in S/S…[Read more]

Dan, looks great but I have an issue with that same bracket. It seems that this bracket is just glassed into the fender and my bracket is loose. On a rough road the bracket is rubbing against the fiberglass making a annoying sound. Does anyone have a fix for this problem.
