Check with Moss Motors. My fender mirrors were about 15 bucks and the rear view mirror on the dash was about the same.

Only when the engine runs
.
We camp alot, I added a trailer hitch to pull our cargo trailer with all the gear. Since the kids have moved away, it’s just the two of us to camp with other family friends, whose kids have now moved away now also.

It has been raining for the last two days, I hope to work on her tomorrow. Here is a pic of her when she died. I drove her to this spot, installed the new top, polished her, and turned the key to start her, nothing….locked up. Weird. I had to push her back into her nest, and that is where she is partially taken apart.

I agree also. A long time ago, as a visitor to this site, in the begining I cruised the pics. My first impression was, ‘Is that all there is?’ Thinking this was not much of a group. So I left for a while, then returned later and joined. I actually had forgotten that I had joined until recently. It wasn’t until after a while that I noticed I c…[Read more]

After high School (in NYC you can’t drive till your 18) I was a Hot Rod guy but my best friend (Steve)was a sportscar guy. He worked midnight shift for AT&T and I was in College. In the Summer on his days off he would come over to my house at about 11pm to an road t…[Read more] -

Geoff,
I’m with you although I hate to ask Frankie to a lot more work than he already does to maintain the site. So I guess if it wouldn’t be too much work, an update would be very nice. Perhaps a blind Vote via EMail as to who’s pictures should be added, so it’s democratic and no one gets too offended? Are we limited to the number of photos on…[Read more] -

WOW, way cool. I imagined your drives. Wind in your hair, nice engine rumble, on top of the world as the world glided below you. I am about to hit the sack, long day. Your ride has given me some inspiration for a nice evening. Thanks Rich, very nice, I read it twice

Mel,
Glad you had a great time. It hasn’t stopped raining here all day. Just west of here they reported 3 inches so far. Your wife wants to go to more car shows??? I have to trade going to yard sales with my wife for each car show. Lately I have been taking my brother inlaw
.
I keep thinking of the Click-n-clack article on the real MGTD

Hi all:
We got back and had a very enjoyable if not weather shortening visit to Britfest. I will post pictures tomorrow, there was only two or three TD’s and two TF’s. A large number of MGB’s and a good bunch of MGA’s.
The other Brits included, Jags, TVR’s, Lotus, and a few Morgan’s.
There was vendors selling used parts, apparel, pins, toys and b…[Read more] -

OK, a dollar for every time I’ve been asked, “Is that a real car?” My answer, “Sure is! If I wanted to fix it, I’d restore an original. I prefer to drive it, so I built a reproduction.”The “original” crowds are funny. Some will graciously accept a replica. Some (as you might expect) will turn their noses up. I’ve never taken my Duchess to…[Read more]

Hey James,
Know the easiest way to tell a Brit original from a Replica? The replica starts, has actual power and doesn’t leak oil
(except yours at the moment)
