I live in Illinois and built a Fiberfab MiGi on a 1974 VW donor car. After the build it was inspected by the Sectary of State and was issued an Assigned Identification Number. It is titled as a 1974 VW.

Welcome aboard Marnie. Glad you found our group. I too have a Fiberfab kit car which I’m still building. But according to the MSO letter I have from the (then) president of Fiberfab for my TD, mine was built in 1984. The MSO letter also states that Fiberfab kits were discontinued in the early 1990s.
