I’ve learned something, thanks! I wouldn’t know any differences from a TA, TB or TC.
Didn’t look at the photos at that museum until now, looks like a nice place.I like the car shown in front of a covered bridge, especially since that’s what I’ve been sightseeing the past few years.I had seen a 3-wheel Messerschmitt at a cruise-in a couple summers… -

This is a 1938 TA, way before the TC which was not made until 1945. The TAs replaced the PB in 1936 but this one is a Tickford drophead coupe by Salmons of Newport Pagnell which were made beginning in 1938 and was a luxury edition, only 252 of these were made. Here’s the plaque from the exhibit but it can be seem better here:

Good to see you here!
When I got my car and joined up 9 months ago I wasn’t sure how many people were still going to be talking about these cars, much less becoming new owners or builders still. Is an old kit car after all. -

Something like the Mercedes Gazelle maybe, doors and bumpers anyway. From what little I know of those.

What a great way to show the car without leaving it outside. Although I think part of the reason for insurers wanting “classic” cars to be garaged is to be locked and hidden away. Don’t know if that’s true.

Seems to be a TC model from before the TD, narrow and short fenders. Love the color, of course, blue’s my favorite.

Or would make a great tree ornament at a smaller size. Looks like a red foil covering it.

Incredibly, Moss is actually cheaper for the TD-style repros. Item 53 appears to be the full set–both outside handles, inside strikers and mechanism, for $260 plus shipping.

Just turned this pic–originally 5.6 mb, into a 1.3 mb jpg that I saved as a 415kb file to upload here. Took about six seconds. Still looks pretty great.edsnova2015-12-28 22:37:12

TD kits used two different kinds of latches, reproduction originals and “slam” latches (FIberFab and Migi used these, although others may have as well). It’ll be obvious which ones you need when you see the pictures. The reproduction latches are here:http://www.mgmagicclassicmotorparts.com/door-lock-set-smooth-travel-complete-2-doors/The “slam” type…[Read more]

Another thought, if you store your pictures on line, either in the cloud, flickr, photobucket or some other commercial product, you can link to those pictures.
Bottom line, you might sell your car here, or forum members might help you sell the car through referrals. We’re here to help! But not much will happen without seeing pictures. Managing th… -

Apple product? Not sure how to compress photos in that environment, but I’m sure someone here does. If not, I can always turn to my daughter for advice. 😉
Any photo editing software should have the feature. -

Yes. Most interfere. For our purposes, I still like the “tire step” style best.

The original TD style version will interfere with Classic Roadster Ltd. Duchess’ bottom hinged engine cover. Hence the search for options.PMOSSBERG2015-12-28 14:57:35
