You will also notice the “Store” is gone and replaced by a “Join” link.
We have not had anything to sell in quite some time, so the link was a bit …dated.
Also, to try and manage the spam registrations we have on and off tried different approaches. The current one will allow any current user to “invite” someone. This includes Paul and myself…[Read more]

We had a strange problem recently where the Library, Gallery, History, and Store were not showing properly. Frankly, I’m not entirely sure what went bonkers, but a “reset” of “permalink settings” brought things back to normal. Not suspecting anyone need to know what all that entails, other than, things are working as expected now.
There’s a new…[Read more]

My kit windshield had a small chip on the border. The chip was hidden by the frame, but while working on the top installation, I saw a large diagonal crack in the glass running all the way from top to bottom. Clearly I will need a new windshield before attempting to get the new project titled, but the question is WHERE? Is the Fiberfab windshield…[Read more]

I had the exact problem with a crack years ago. The good ting is the windshield is flat. The glass replacement firm just cut a piece of flat stock to fit.

Hi,Al,
Thanks so much for the quick reply. What glass service did you use? Local independent or national chain? Thx again.-
Glass America, don’t know if national but the one I used was in Chicago area, it was probably about 15 years ago.

Thanks Al. You’re an ace.

I’m thinking that the windshield cracking was the result of fitting the top. After tucking the forward flap into the windshield frame, is it possible that pulling the r…

Mine is a VW and has 10 gallon tank. Is it possible to run the fuel near empty and fill it all the way up and see that way?

Well today was the day. I began with the gas tank cleaning. I have read 5 chapters so far of the book which for me is a lot. I did go to the index for instructions on cleaning the gas tank to which he advised to take it somewhere. So for that task I went to youtube and watch different peoples videos on how to clean it. I know there are different…[Read more]

Hello, as a new member, I am trying to determine how large my gas tank might be. From what I understand the donor vehicle is a Chevette but other than that, I know nothing about the car. I have a 52 MGTD. I do have the serial number plate on the car but don’t seem to have the ability to look up the donor from the serial number. Thanks for having this site!
