The Melrose 7th Avenue Street fair is March 5, 2022 in central Phoenix, Arizona. Once again we will have a car show as well. There is a fee to register your car ($20.00, I think), yet the Street Faire is free and open to the public. Come one and come all.

Paul, I really don’t mean to hijack this thread, so I’ll start out with the information that both my 1967 VW Beetle and 2001 Honda S2000 are with Hagerty. My London Roadster and FiberFab Chevy V8 are not currentl running so they are not insured.
Here’s the hijack: Paul, I am unfamiliar with the car you currently have. Will you please elaborate?

I was able to upload a few pictures to my personal gallery (media) but I cannot display them or see them. I know they were uploaded because the number of media changed to reflect the number I uploaded. I tried Firefox, Chrome and MS Edge with the same result, and I get a message that “There has been a critical error on this website.” on the media page.

Anyway, I am still thinking about it. I have thought about moving the seat back to the rear shelf and cutting it down a little because I do like the original look.…[Read more]

There are a few cars with bucket seats. On a VW pan-based car, the tunnel spreads out toward the back and makes it hard to fit a wide seat and impossible to move it further back, but you can lean it.

If you’re looking for more room, cutting the seat back for height and moving it back onto the storage area is quite easy. Just mount it where you’re comfortable. Perfect time to add seat heaters.
