Roy, I’m still working with my carb problems. I’m not sure why it is so difficult. I’ll be taking the carb off again and will probably drill out the main jet per Ed’s suggestion and see if I can adj. the accel pump. The only loose parts left are the front bumper and the right running board. Lamps are all on and worked on the first try. Wheels all on. I will be driving by the weekend. Woo Hoo!!

Well, I finally finished the disc brake install on MiGi today. Turns out that I had a few surprises and a 72nd birthday that cost me an extra week.
A. This one is of my own making: I adapted and installed real wires and two eared knock offs from a Triumph Stag. Look great and work well. But they are 14″ not standard VW 15″. This caused… -

Hi everyone. I hope i’m in the right spot. I’m Mark “Two Blades” Williams. I’m new and looking for info on my newly acquire 1949/vw MG. Before you ask I am Cherokee and Two Blades is my Indian name. Geez Bill. It doesn’t even look like the same car. And you used a paint roller and rolled the paint on. I’m definitely going to do this with the front on my side cowls. Excellent work.
