RESERVATION CHANGE UPDATE
The 877 phone number that I posted above is incorrect. The correct # is 800 780 5733. Then go to prompt #2. They will want my email address of rfhendrix@suddenlink.net and my phone # 252 671 0067. They will also ask for my confirmation # which I will send to you when you email me. Sorry about the confusion.Thanks.ray10 replied to the topic Chevy 2.2L dutchess in the forum My Project 12 years ago

As usual, Allen’s got it. If you are not familiar with engine rebuild, you really need Muir’s Compleat “How to Keep your Volkswagen alive” as a bare minimum. I also have the bug me video that Mike mentions and it’s a bit pricey but worth it.

There is youtube demos but I bought bugme video volume 2 and it is worth it. Although the members will have useful tips having visual is good. Cip1.com has engine dolly as cheap as you can build one.

Gabe, A lot of us would really like to see your project. I think that we all have common passions if not common talents. If you can make it, send me an email and we’ll try our darndest to get you a room or perhaps squeeze you in one of ours.

I am still working towards getting my car built and titled by then. Unless Maryland MVA gets in my way, it looks promising right now.

The short was between the D+ wire and the F wire at the generator. ( I had the wires off to install a new style oil cooler and they got shorted together, Now my signal lights do some strange things!!

And that’s the color I wanted too, but I settled for a black one! I like that wiring harness too, mine is all done in black and white with labels! a real bear to trace and repair! I had a short somewhere yesterday and fried the ground wire in the main harness.
