Just wanted to introduce myself. I’m a life long VW guy that picked up a NOS British Coach Works (kit only)BCW model 52 serial number 100 made in 1982. I purchased it on facebook last Sept and assembled the car myself on a 1969 pan and used a rebuilt dual port stock 1600 and having been driving it for six weeks to include entering it in The Little Car Show in Pacific Grove CA last Wednesday during auto week in Monterey. The car was well received and the confused looks were priceless! Its really neat having a brand neww 44 year old kit car.
