Using your chart and if I read it right, mine was built in December of 1969. Is that right?
The number under the generator stand is:
H5351754. I don’t know if that can be broken down as to what I have for a engine. -

Thanks David.
I removed the passenger side seat bottom. Then I was able to peel back the carpeting exposing the top of the tunnel. From the shifter mechanism, the linkage access cover is back about 18”. They had put a very thick coat of something all over the flooring and tunnel. I look real close and right in front of the access cover hole, it a…[Read more] -

After getting a warning about repeated failed login attempts from Vietnam as a site administrator I have made the settings a little more strict. I have set the site to lock accounts after 10 failed password attempts in an hour (same for password reset). The failed account will be locked out for 4 hours.
Frankly, I’ve not seen any legitimate users…[Read more]

The badge bar is a correct place to mount auxiliary lights on a TD. The Moss badge bar has mounting brackets for the fog and/or driving lights built in. There were several different types of TD badge bars, and you can see some had light brackets and some didn’t. The correct lights are made by Lucas.
The originals are actually quite good. I can’t…[Read more]

Hi All,
This is my first Replica/Classic car, and I wanted to see what things I should be on the lookout for. I just replaced all the tires as they were varying stages of dryrot, and noticed the brake pads were low, so ordered those and will see about them next week. I did have to take apart the shifter assembly and clean it up and grease it a…[Read more]

If you mount the lamps to the badge bar, drill a hole in the bar and route the wires through the bar and mounting bracket to the underside of the fender.

What kind of screws or bolts have yall used to on fiberglass? I am trying to bolt on an oil cooler below that trunk area of my TD and have no idea what hardware to use.
Thanks,

I bought some fog lights for my car, but am not too sure how I want to install them. On my car, the bar in front of the grill is too far forward to put them on the body, so I was thinking the would have to be mounted to the bar itself. Not sure how I will do that, but maybe a trip to Home Depot or some advice will give me some ideas.
I also have…[Read more]

I did call those two shops back about 6 weeks ago. They both gave me estimates of $450.00 to $500.00 plus parts. No way would I do that. Thankfully I was able to remove the bezel with no damage at all, make the repair and reinstall it. Only one number is off slightly but I’m good with at

No I didn’t. This morning the numbers in the odometer were 30997. The 0 and both 9’s were out of sink. I took it off for a ride and all four numbers on the right had to rotate. All the numbers are now in decent alignment . One of the 9’s is off. So I’m going to keep this speedometer. Hopefully in time it will correct itself.
I don’t want to t…[Read more] - Load More
