Gotta change the oil and get her seats in and then take the top and tonneau cover to our local “Over the Top” convertible top specialists. I’m going to let them handle the convertible top install and fit the tonneau cover. Almost there!

That’s great news. Glad she’s running even better than before.

Here are some photos from the 2018 Carlisle event. Rainy, wet and muddy would describe it. The weather kept a lot of cars away, but a good time was had by all who attended anyway.

exhaust is not finished yet, but here is a picture of the muffler mounted under the running board.

Here are the exhaust headers.  There were for an MGB, so required some mods to make work.  Also, they exit through the engine compartment side panel.

Right side required some twists to clear engine mount.

Left side was  pretty straight forward.

And here is radiator mounted to shell.  I just added a couple aluminum angles and put the fan as a pusher.

It is for a Datsun Fairlady and is about 17 x 17 inches. Supposed to handle up to  400 HP.

Have made lots of progress in the past months, just forgot to do any posts.  Here is engine mounted in car.

Tracing and fixing lights is great training for making the horn work. 😉

As for the head lights, check the fuse first. If fuse is blown you can try replacing it but if there is a short in the circuitry then the fuse will just blow again. If fuse doesn’t blow after replacement then there has to be an open in the circuit to the head lights.
