Or it was, anyway, about 18 months ago, when the Commonwealth of VA struck this blow for tyranny!
Yeah, not really TD Replica-related. But this site’s been too quiet lately. And I am Captain Postalot.

Get back in the garage and start working on that car!

January 8, 2011 at 3:12 pm #243350I’d be out there now if I had the parts I need. Turns out my ball joints have bad booties.

And the tie rod ends–which looked pretty good when I wasn’t looking at them too closely–didn’t look so hot at second glance.
So I await new ball joint boots and new tie rod ends. Really thought they’d be here yesterday but no.

Must be a snow day there.
I started putting the new stereo in Audrey today. Got as far as cutting the hole (Din 1) size. Really nervious cutting that dash!!! But made it, just the wiring to go.

Dan January 8, 2011 at 11:06 pm #243353Good job Montie.
No one would notice it, but the stereo in my dash is a couple degrees off of horizontal. and has been since 1982!
