A while ago, there wasa thread about battery chargers.

Eastwood is having a 72 hour sale on Battery Tender products

Battery Tender are used by most of the forum members that replied to the prior thread.

I have two Battery Tender Jr. 12V, one on my Duchess, the other on my 65 Plymouth.

Paul ; They work ,I also use one, but nothing replaces starting once a week and just listening to the sounds the engine makes, and hope nothing out of the ordinary! on my boat at the dock I have used one that works in sunlight, but in the garage there is not enough sun light to make it work. I hate to put it up[ the TD ] for the winter, A day here and there 75 degrees to day great driving in the fall.    Dan

I agree the best driving weather is a clear crisp fall day! Drop teh top, bundle up, put the heat on if you have it, and go!

Re starting up while the car is otherwise idle, I am not an engineer. But I have been told one of the worst things you can to an internal combustion engine is start it, let it run for a few minutes and shut it down.

The engine needs to come fully up to normal operating temperature and be run for a while before shutting down again.

If you cannot do that, it is better to just leave it alone.PMOSSBERG40112.3782175926
