    @greg-press

    I have been thinking about going to the carlisle show in the spring.I have a few questions.

    1.My wife wants to go. Do you guys bring your wives?

    2.I don,t think i will bring my car because of the distance.[Looking into buying or renting a trailer]

    3. Other things to do in the area[thinking about a small vacation in that area.]

    4.How big is this event.[is there more than cars and car parts]

    5.Thinking about staying outside the area within a hour of the event are there lots of hotels

    6.How many of you guys will be there,i wood love to meet you.[maybe we could start a list]

    other things that you can do there and Ed has the up to

    date count of the numbers going. I’m bringing my wife

    unless her job will keep her from attending.newkitman40910.5648263889

    Greg: Running list of attendees is on this thread. There’s a fair amount of stuff to do in and around the fair grounds, but it’s mainly auto/show related stuff. Carlisle seems to have staked its economy on these weekly car shows, which run all spring and summer.

    In and around Carlisle there are also numerous antiques shops (Adamstown Antique Gallery is in nearby Denver), there is bowling, the big sports emporium (slick track, etc.), a fire museum, plus there are such gems Christine’s Chocolate.

    Hershey, PA is not too far off (40 minutes or so). There’s the amusement park & the ACAA Museum. Falling Water is three hours west.

    I’m gonna stick my nose in…

    The up to date list is on THIS thread:

    https://tdreplica.com/forum/forum_posts.asp?TID=2883& PN=1

    The thread Ed linked was the registration presale. It will be easier to track if we keep the info under the hotel arrangements.

    Also, I will be sharing info from the speedster owners group about their dinner arrangements, road tours etc.

    ALL of that info will be posted under the Hotel thread.
