Murphy strikes again. Unfortunately Linda and I will once again miss out going to Carlisle. The AF has me in DC the week of Carlisle and in the northwest the following week. To say I’m bummed out is no exaggeration. Y’all have a great time at Carlisle and take pictures.

I longed for a 240Z or 260Z in my younger days. But overall, I’m not a huge Datsun/Nissan fan.

 

That said, I like history and old cars and Nissan is bringing out some cool stuff for Carlisle:

Would all of you who are planning on coming to Carlisle, please let us know if you are bringing a wife or girlfriend?  

While Julie is not one to sit and talk about hair styles, lipstick, and corsets, she really doesn’t care about camshafts, Webers or final drive ratios either.

Not sure if my wife Rose will be coming.  My daughter in law broke her right leg, so she can’t drive and do some of the other stuff required when you have 2 kids, so my wife is in NC now helping out, length of stay dependent on when she gets out of the cast.  If she doesn’t come, my oldest son, 40, is planning on making trip with me.

Had a text conversation with Wobby last night and he let me know he will not be coming this year – Wedding and two graduations – sorry he will miss but will be here next year. He will be missed.
