As a chrome grill shell is very expensive…more than 1,000$. Is somebody ever tried to have the fiberglass shell chromed like they are doing for plastic name plate on cars….If plastic can be chromed, it should be the same thing for fiberglass ?????

There are chrome companies that do fiberglass, plastic, even wood! A friend of mine had some dash work done that looks great. I can’t remember the name offhand but he found it online after a Google search.

    Good Luck,

I haev no idea what these guys are like to deal with. But they claim to have a grill shell, not yet chromed for under a hundred bucks.

It concerns me that they do not post a photo. But who knows, it might be worth a call. (404) 299-5775

Keep in mind that it’ll cost about $700-$800 to get it chromed.
