I saw on the other MGTD forum where Frankie wondered why all of you seem to post to that forum, but not to this forum. I like the posting method on the other forum, but I find it difficult to find and post to this forum on this website. And speaking of that this is the second time I have tried to post to this forum. After I completed my last posting, I hit the [Preview Post] button and my whole message just disappeared, so I’m trying again. Are some of the rest of you having the same problem? Perhaps if we let Frankie know that we are computerese challenged in a kindly, diplomatic way, he could make it a little easier for us.
January 17, 2005 at 11:03 am #236454I think that most people post to the Yahoo forum because that is what they are used to.
I have been posting here and wondered why there aren’t more postings here. I like this format because it’s the same as some others I participate in with my Radio Controlled car hobby.
Frankie was supposed to e-mail me his mailing address so I can send in a donation. pinkmg@comcast.net

I haven’ heard of any others but I’ll run through things to make sure there are no problems.
I’m also working of a Email system like the one we are using on Yahoo. Mostly to get news letter out to the group but may work just like the Yahoo one. The one nice thing about this forum is it put topics or subject together so to follow one conversation is much easier than reading thru several emails.

I’m working on adding a Donate button to the new site. There you can make donations to TDReplica.com via Paypal.
Thanks for the support. I’ve put in countless hours and a few bucks for some software needed. The site hosting is really cheep right now so no complaints there, not yet anyhow
January 19, 2005 at 2:16 am #236457Apparently, I didn’t make things clear. Yes, I did loose my message when I hit the Prieview button.
The other thing I was trying to say is that when you go to the yahoo forum, all the messages are displayed with the subject matter stated on the subject line. No pressing of multiple buttons is required. To get to the messages on this site, you have to go to the FORUM button, then the GENERAL DISCUSSION button, and then you have click on one of the subjects. After reading about that subject, you have to hit the Back button and the click on another subject. In other words to read about 15 different subjects, you have to click 15 times on a subject and then click click the back button 15 times. On the other forum, you click on the first posting and then just click on next for the next posting. Doesn’t that seem more simple?
January 20, 2005 at 12:12 am #236458Hi all,
I agree with Frank, so far as searching for prior postings. This forum makes that MUCH easier than the old yahoo site.
That said, I set up my id at the yahoo groups site to receive the digest. So I get all the days postings in one email. I much prefer to receive them in my email that way, rather than have to come to the tdreplica site to look for new postings.
So Frank…among the thousand other things you are doing for us…adding a daily digest option woudl make this site the est of all worlds! (imho)
