March 17, 2013 at 9:07 am #254968Born in 1965, which seems long ago compared to many of the people I work with. On this board, however, I am still wet behind the ears.
March 17, 2013 at 9:25 am #254969Ed it looks like you’re the youngest. So far that is!

"If one thing matters, everything matters" - from the book The ShackMarch 17, 2013 at 10:42 am #254970Isn’t there some sort of unwritten rule that you must be 60 years old or more to be able to own one of these cars? Nobody in their 30’s should be allowed to have one.
March 17, 2013 at 1:51 pm #254971You are right you should be older to own a car like a td replica .If you go to a car show you will notice the 20 year olds looking at the cars that the sides are removed to get in and the front end is hinged to com off to get to the engine.Big deal you cant work on them!!!!!!!.Everone seems to like the muscle cars myself included.Everytime i look at one i think of how many people died as a result of the auto industry building a car that would go 160mph off the assembley line. The 1920s through 1950 are admired for what they are.I always think how did they think that up .Now we have are cars.I referred to my car as the chick magnet because there were alot of 75 year old women looking at it.The 20 year olds are interested in the vw engine in a mgtd body. The muscle car people wonder if it will pop the front end off the ground because of where all the weight is.The twenty year old women can picture there hair blowing in the breeze and looking good in it. Then there is me i drive my car every chance i can because i like it.
March 17, 2013 at 10:21 pm #254972Greg Here I thought you were the one looking good with your hair blowing in the breeze! 🙂

March 19, 2013 at 12:22 am #254980Happy birthday, Greg and everyone else who has a birthday coming up. I’m one of the younger ones on here, but probably not the youngest. I rolled double nickles last June, so I’ll be hitting 56 this June. I don’t think I’ll be able to retire at 62 due to the past 5 years of financial troubles, but, I’m holding out that I won’t have to work forever.
March 19, 2013 at 10:11 am #254981Thank goodness. There’s someone here my own age!
I’ll be 55 in May.Paul Mossberg
