Good evening – I am John Barry and new to this site. I live on Oak island,NC. and work on the Bald Head Island ferry . I am in the process of purchasing a ’86 London Roadster-all things being equal . I am excited about joining this club and enjoying the TD replica. I plan to drive it regularly. The MG TD has always been one of my favorite classic cars. I look forwrd to meeting everyone .
I am sure I will have many questions.
Thanks so much
November 5, 2011 at 9:19 pm #247645Good evening John. Glad to have you aboard. You’ll have questions and there are a lot of London Roadster owners our group so you’ll have an abundance of assistance. Also I believe there are a number of folks in the group from NC. Most in the group I think.

There is a wealth of knowledge available here and everyone is on your side and wants to help. I often wonder how we ever managed without the internet. We do seem to have a lot of Tar Heels in the forum. Perhaps we could have a Tar Heel meet some day.

The London Roadster is a nice car!
And this is a nice place!
You’ll find a lot of friendly and knowledgeable td replica owners here!

November 6, 2011 at 5:46 pm #247648I’ll second what Paul said, although along with the “knowledgeable” owners you’ll also encounter some (I’m raising my hand) who hardly know which end of a wrench to hold. We are friendly, though! So crank up your engine, get it in gear and join the fun!

November 6, 2011 at 9:43 pm #247651Hi John and welcome to the gang. I live in Reidsville NC and have owned a London Roadster since 1994. It’s been a dependable and fun toy . I owned two of them for a couple of years but sold one to a friend who lives a couple miles from me when I got a chance to get a Chevette based British Coach Works in 2009.
