    Welcome aboard Bill. An MG TI. Have to see a picture of that model. Is is an actual car or or replica (kit) car? Either way, it’ll be fun doing your restoration.

    Thanks, Allen. The Lafer isn’t a kit car, as it was factory-built, but it shares some characteristics with kits, primarily the fiberglass body, VW chassis and engine. I took some photos when it was delivered in 2007, at our previous house. You can check them out here:

    I’m having the doors weatherstripped right now. When I get it back from the shop I’ll borrow my wife’s camera, snap a few photos and try to figure out how to post them on the forum.

    My apologies, folks. I’ve tried three times, but can’t seem to get that link to work the way it shows up here. For some reason, when I post it, a space shows up between the final two digits. If you delete the space, maybe it’ll work. If not, do a Google search for “lafer ti” and click on the result labeled 1981 MP Lafer TI
