Keeping her looking good is a labor of love.
April 27, 2011 at 1:50 pm #244409I got her twin, check out RobBaker. Ford 4 cyl automatic. Just came out of the garage to get inspected last Friday in NH. Had to pour gas in the carb to get her running again it was a long winter but she is running great.
Just did the final install on the trailer hitch need to get a picture of that. It’s going to be my tow vehicle for my Force Five sailboat, locally only.
April 27, 2011 at 6:17 pm #244410Okay…those two cars are Revelle model cars Right? They both look way cool.

April 28, 2011 at 9:34 am #244413Is the Cobra also on a VW base? And your shade of red looks to be identical to luvmytd’s MG.

It’s got a little more pick up then a vw, 13.2 and 105 mph in the quarter mile. It’s a 92 Mustang drivetrain with a few extras.
My td is based on the 4 cyl Ford platform about 72 hp on a good day.

April 28, 2011 at 4:12 pm #244416Mel and Rob, What rims are they. Both look great!!
April 29, 2011 at 7:28 am #244417Thanks
Wire Wheels are from MG Magic, centers are from Moss Motors installed on spinners by grinding off the center post and cemented on with industrial body cement.
April 29, 2011 at 1:24 pm #244418My wheels are probably original equipment (1978?). They are chrome rims with chrome wire wheel baskets. They came with the mostly assembled car when I purchased it. I probalby would have gotten some more authentic looking rims but since these came with the purchase I’ll use them.
