In process of rebuilding fiberfab vw powered 4 speed tan with brown fenders. Had fun running car and one day had an electrical fire. Took out ignition switch and fried wires between dash and engine. In process of rewiring dash and rest of car. P/O had a real fun time wiring it as no wires are marked and all are in the color of red. Numerous wires interconnected to each other and many to trace out and find were they go. Retired bus mechanic so have some time to get it going.

Also plan to do cosmetic work while wiring is being done . Making new upholstery and top and tonno cover for it. new dash is also planned.

Good luck George, wiring is fun.

Welcome to the group. We’ll try to help.

    Welcome aboard George.

Over in the manuals section you will find complete schematics for a VW based Classic Roadsters Duchess (down near the bottom of the Download Manuals page).

While not a Fiberfab, there should not be much difference. They may help.

Good to have you with us, George. Tell us where you’re located; there may be someone close by who could lend a hand — or, in my case, an ear.
