1952 MG 2D Roadster Kit Car. 4 Cylinder Air Cooled Volkswagon Engine. Engine was replaced in March 2011. The Dual Port Engine, was a Reman Turn Key – included generator, pullies, distributor, carburetor, flywheel, coil, plugs, wires, fan and shroud, etc. Engine Serial# 15948, Engine Type: JCS105RTK by Price’s Automotive Service. The engine has 134 miles on it in 3 years.
-A complete brake job was performed 130 miles ago in March 2011.
-Pertronix ignition was installed March 2007 approx. 360 miles ago.
–The car has always been garage kept and is in storage now .
-I have all the documentation of the above work that has been done on it.
-Asking $6,500 or make an offer.

Here’s another example of a seller that doesn’t really care about accuracy.

Sad how people just do NOT think when they write their own ad copy. If they don’t care, why should I waste my time caring?

Seller says: 

The Pertronix was installed in March 2007, 360 miles ago.

The engine was replaced with a remanufactured engine in March 2011, 134 miles ago.

So, um, hmmm… does that mean the Pertronix was tossed along with the old engine?
