    @rockyx

    This past weekend we cut a bunch of ugly off the frame and started prepping for repair.

    Before…

    Current..

    Tube before….

    Tube prepped…….

    I’ll be removing the copper fuel line and bicycle cable gas pedal cable.

    The Frame Head is ordered and I’ve measured 6 ways from Sunday to make sure the new one goes on properly.

    Delivery of the Frame Head will put us out about 2 weeks before we can get it and the floor pans welded in.  So, in the meantime I’ll work on the suspension, rust, and do more research.

    Thanks for all the info and feedback from this site.  It Rocks!

    Wow. Just wow.

    Carry on, and good luck. Thanks for all the pics and descriptions. When I finally take Bridget apart and re-do her this will help build my confidence.

    Like the phoenix arising from the ashes, or in this case, from the rust!

    Starting to take shape for you. Please continue the photos on the chassis restore. The knowledge you are gathering is sure to help others. Keep up the good work.

    @bdriver

    Have you tested the automatic transmission yet? Are rebuild parts available? It would defeat the purpose if it didn’t run after you reconnected the good parts.

    This is going to be like a reality TV show only better. It’s real.
