I am sure you have packed already, including the MG stuff to add to your baby. Don’t get too wild down there, okay, maybe some. Hope all the installs go as expected. How long will you be there?

June 9, 2009 at 3:46 pm #239036I have all the toys boxed and ready to go, I have to find some room for clothes .
we will be there a little over 3 weeks, car is schedule at the mechanic next Tuesday for PM and a couple of upgrades I can’t handle with my limited facilities and tools. Then I will rev up my socket set and add the wind wings, visors, change the grill badges and upgrade the fog lights.
Thursday or Friday I will replace the tires if necessary. then it’s fun fun fun till wifey takes the MG away.

June 19, 2009 at 10:29 am #239039Been here 5 days, wow does time fly by.
Picked up the car Sunday night and did she run bad. Stalling, rough idle, and the exhaust fumes stunk. Almost soffucated my wife who was following me home.
Installed new fog lights, wind wings and Motometer. It went into the shop on Tuesday for major PM, tune up, change fluids, and general checkup. Next week we are rebuilding the carb and she will be done.
I’ve had a ball driving her around here and getting looks. We are going to particpate at the cruise in on Sat. night.
June 19, 2009 at 1:23 pm #239040Glad you and your car are together at last. Wish we could find a way to slow down the speed which time flies when having fun but so far I haven’t been able to do that. We just enjoy it anyway.
July 21, 2009 at 5:09 pm #239041My bride and I had the pleasure of meeting Mel and his lady while they were here in Florida. I know they want to be here in The Villages full time (we have the very best snow removal) but sadly they are stuck. 🙁 When they return we’ll have our car completed, running, and enjoying it.
The new wiring harness is wonderful, and was not that hard ti install.
