Anyone on the east coast interested in doing a TD-Speedster time-speed-distance rally next year? I’m thinking about maybe working up a course in maryland/PA if there’s interest.

Looks like some of the clubs do SCCA-sanctioned events on the regular. Maybe a few of us can join one or two of those & get the hang of it. I’ll email around and see what comes up.

A true TSD rally is a LOT of work to put together.

I’ve done the One Lap of Connecticut a few times. It’s a fund raiser for a children’s hospital.

We WON the first time out. At one point per hundreth of a second off from perfect, we scored a 43. Yes. A 43!

And we had a “zero” on one timed segment, which means we hit the timing strip at EXACTLY the right time.

You might say “Beginners’ luck”., I say excellent car control. 🙂

That is brilliant, Paul. Less than half a second off perfect! Was it in the TD?

And, yeah, setup on these might be more work than I can handle next summer. I do have other pursuits. But there appears to be a rally club or two ’round these parts. Maybe we can muster up a TD contingent for an existing run.

I’m going to open it up to the Speedster guys as well.
