Although I have uploaded pictures on the site before, now I get the following error message:
Persits.Upload.1 error ‘800a0005’
The system cannot find the file specified.
/forum2/functions/functions_upload.asp, line 174
Any help?:?

Not sure how to do that, but guess I’ll be learning some new things over the next few days.

July 1, 2015 at 8:48 am #264916Just a quick update…
A preliminary investigation indicates we have reached our storage limit. We are looking to confirm that is, indeed, the cause of the upload problems. And are looking at options, which may include:- payign for increased storage,
- archiving old content (not something I want to do)
- deleting pictures (also not so,ething I really want to do)
Nothing for ya’ll to do yet except hang in there, and stay tuned.Meanwhile, if you want to post pictures, I recommend storing them on a free site like flickr or photobucket, and then linking to the pictures. Each of those sites provide the html code to copy into your post here. The proper string that you want to copy will begin with [ img ] and end with [ /img ] (without the spaces). The url of the photo will be between those.PMOSSBERG2015-07-01 12:53:08

July 1, 2015 at 9:49 am #264917Paul. If paying for increased storage is chosen I will gladly contribute to get that done. Just let us know.

Not there yet. But if that’s the soluiton, I’ll probably upgrade to coincide with the annual hosting renewal, and make one pitch for donations. The good news is the last time I had to solicit donations, I recall I received enough to cover three years.PMOSSBERG2015-07-01 12:54:57

July 1, 2015 at 4:53 pm #264920OK, thanks. But focus please. No more chatter about fund raising in this thread.
I’ll handle that in a separate thread as always.Paul Mossberg

July 1, 2015 at 5:55 pm #264921Paul. Is increasing the size something you can do to fix the upload problem?

"If one thing matters, everything matters" - from the book The ShackJuly 1, 2015 at 6:29 pm #264922Um, isn’t that what I wrote in the first bullet, “paying for increased storage”?
Guys…all I intended to do was provide an update. We are still diagnosing the problem and will determine an appropriate solution. And like I wrote, “Nothing for ya’ll to do yet except hang in there, and stay tuned.”I’m from Jersey…trust me. 👿Paul Mossberg

1982 London Roadster - "Kit Kat"July 1, 2015 at 9:02 pm #264930From my upcoming “Random Strangers Sitting in My Car” blog post. This is the girl from the New Chinese Boys carry-out up the road from my house. I came out of the liquor store next to it and saw her taking phone pics though her store’s window; offered to take one of her in it.July 1, 2015 at 10:05 pm #264931No it didn’t work. I’ll try again. Here goes!
It appears to have worked this time.

"If one thing matters, everything matters" - from the book The ShackJuly 2, 2015 at 7:02 am #264932Steve, is there a way to remedy the inability to upload photos from an Apple device? It will do one, but once you do your first upload, it always says you have already posted a photo with the same name already for subsequent attempts.
But anyway, thanks for this fix.Bill Ascheman

"Drive Happy"July 2, 2015 at 11:43 am #264933Billnparts, I hope that maybe Steve can give you some advice on uploading pics from an apple device. I was able to only up load one photo like you were. I just completed a body off restoration on Herbie, and have some great photos to share.

Lakeland, Florida, where we drive Topless every dayJuly 2, 2015 at 1:42 pm #264934Multiple image upload test — from an Apple iMac, OS X 10.10.4 (just updated today), Safari 8.0.7.
0. While editing message
1. Image Upload -> choose file -> Ok -> wait for image to upload -> Cancel
2. Now you are back at editing message you should see one IMG tag for what you just uploaded
3. Image Upload -> choose file -> Ok -> wait for image to upload -> Cancel
4. Again back at editing message and should see two (2) IMG tagsViola — there are multiple images!stephenhouser2015-07-02 13:44:14

1982 London Roadster - "Kit Kat"July 3, 2015 at 4:10 pm #264935That method will not work with a portable device. Both the iPhone and the iPad give the message that the file chosen has already been uploaded.
