Thanks for thatGraduation is in September so it looks like VA Beach is a good to go deal for me at this point.Bringing this back up to pump some interest. We are going to run out of driving weather sooner then we realize.Reserved my room and still need to reserve a spot at the show.Who else is coming? Looking forward to this now.Paul – you bringing the IM or your TD?September 1, 2015 at 8:53 pm #262854Registered; Rockstar parking. We caravanning in again? Schu–roomie, right?
September 2, 2015 at 7:53 am #262855Still need to register for Rockstar. Ed – yes
September 5, 2015 at 9:10 am #262856Hey Folks —
Now that I have Emma back from the welding shop (I’ll post pics on rust issues once I get some “after” pictures to go along with the “before” shots) I just registered for Rock Star parking and the Oceanfront Inn w/breakfast for Fri. and Sat night….…so now we are just waiting on Roy to “get-r-done,” Shu to get registered for the event, and Paul to decide which car to bring — hey Paul, if you bring the Porsche, how about parking it with the Tdr’s — would make a great “little Brothers/BigBrother” picture……see you all in Va Beach….Happy JackSeptember 5, 2015 at 10:02 am #262857OK guys, – I’m in. See you all Fri nite at the Oceanfront and Rock Star on Sat.
September 5, 2015 at 5:46 pm #262858Great, Roy! Looking forward to seeing you there.

September 6, 2015 at 9:57 am #262859Roy and Jack – good to hear you are both in…
Hopefully Dean will chime in as well – did a couple hour cruise with him yesterday and he said he is inMy friend Terry and his early MGB hopes to tag along as wellLooking forward to meeting you VicencSeptember 6, 2015 at 10:24 am #262860Signed up for Rockstar parking
September 6, 2015 at 11:36 am #262861Schu, Jack and I had a serious discussion last week and decided that the group needed some adult supervision. Jack was going to come along but thought it was too much responsibility, so I agreed to come and assist. We’ll see you there…..and don’t forget that I talk with Santa Claus often.
Paul, I too think that if you bring the IM, you should try to park with us peons. If you parked elsewhere, you would be wrongly overlooked as “just another really nice 356”. Parking with the Philistines would give rise to many “Why?” questions.

"Drive Happy"September 9, 2015 at 7:56 am #262863Well it is a Porsche sponsored event. Not sure why the lack of interest from our speedster buddies – the only thing I can think of is not having to deal with the replica talk while parked next to them?
September 9, 2015 at 7:32 pm #262864Late in the season too.
September 13, 2015 at 5:10 pm #262865As of this afternoon, we have 7 TDr’s registered for the show.
That ties the number we had 2 yrs ago. We need to get one more undecided to register and we’ll set a new record. Paul?

October 6, 2015 at 7:36 pm #262874OK, Sorry not to have you with.
Ed, same pickup point as 2013? The Chevron station in Linthicum Heights at 10:30?
That would make the rendezvous with Vicenc in Denver at 8:30.
I have the pickup point for Gabe but he does’nt seem to be coming.
Schu, I do NOT have the rendezvous point for the diner we enjoyed lunch at. If you want to do that again, please post the address. Looking forward to this drive again.Bill Ascheman

One time we met out on 301 at a diner someplace and another time in Stafford at 5 guys.
I think Ed set the diner location.
