All the VW 1600 gaskets will fit. The trick is to make sure that all the old gasket material and sealant is off of the cover as well as the valve head. If you get them nice and clean, they won’t leak.
I’ll add to that only this. Toss the rubber valve cover gaskets. They don’t last very long and will leak easily. Stick with the original cork gaskets. I always buy a few cork sets at every vw show I go to.

When using cork gaskets a trick to get a good tight seal is to soak the cork gasket in warm water before installing. The warm water swells the gasket making it more pliable and when it is torked down the gasket will compress good and gasket will pull tight to the cover.
I second, third or whatever…ALWAYS use the cork gaskets.
And I also favor stock covers. They just don’t leak!
