When i bought my car i was told it was a 1985 1600 cc 85 horse.I’m assuming it is .I have looked at lots of pictures  have not seen this .There is a rubber hose that looks like a collant   hose that comes out of the top of carb where a  air cleaner would go .Hose connects to a square enclosed box that sets on top of engine shroud. There sets to the left a rectangluar 3×4 x1half box with hoses going in and out to carb. What do you think?

    thanks

    Breather box

And if you have 85 horse from a type 1 1600, it’s pretty special.

Greg…a stock 1600cc dual port will make about 57 horsepower.
