    James,

Man, you really have to wonder where this stuff comes from. Here’s my scenario:

One morning while eating his Corn Flakes, Chester thinks, Man, I really like them old VW Microbus’s (chomp, chomp), and wow, I really like playing pool with the guys (chomp, chomp), Say, wait just a doggone minute! What if I take a VW Bus and turn it into a Pool Table??

    Another brilliant idea is born!

    Now that is awesome!

And Rich, I love your “story”. See now I would have figured things like this usually start with unusual amounts of “refreshing” beverages! Kinda the corollary to …disaster will follow any action that begins with Hey guys, watch this….!

You guys crack me up . Priceless.

I wonder two things, how do they get the table there, and where do you find a perfectly level parking space?

    Leveling is easy.

    Portable air pump.

Change tire pressures up or down as necessary until level.

COOL, you found a picture. I had looked at the tires previously to see if they were pressured differently, but appeared the same. Dude in the back must be doing the leveling when the picture was taken.

When I Googled VW pool table, it shows up on many sites. Nice job on the conversion.

I don’t know if he really levels it that way. But it makes sense to me.

I read he has $8,000 in this thing! Could have built a decent MG for that!

I agree Paul. I think you hit the nail on the head with the leveling. It may perhaps use the type for RV’s. Some of the old MG’s used the Jackall system that raised the entire vehicle off the ground for wheel changing. I think that is so cool. If you could raise the car, then lock the jacks, it would be a nice security system too.

I think we found the same site. It did say it was a trailer, must have a removeable hitch.

There were a bunch of sites, most referencing back to the WindingRoad site. There is a license plate on it, but hard to read it. One site I read said it was “trailered” which doesn’t necessarily mean it IS a trailer.

Now, since we’re talking miscellaneous VWs here..THIS is my idea of a VW Micro Bus:

The auction ended with no buyer…there are lots more pictures at
