Need a little help.
I need to replace the 9 5/8 inch wiper blades and I don’t know where to get them. They have an IWF stamp in them but I can’t seem to find them online.
Any suggestions?
July 3, 2012 at 12:21 am #250990Rocky, I had the same problem. O’Reilly auto parts ordered some for me that were the right size but they had the wrong type of mounting system. I was able to dissect my old blade, bend up two small tabs and remove the old mounts, and put them on the new blades. Worked good and looked like the original.
July 3, 2012 at 6:43 am #250991MG Magic has some listed in their web site. A bit pricey but the set of two wiper arms and blades is $79.85. Single arm (9 inch with hooh End Connector) runs $14.95. I’m sure there are a lot of standard VW parts houses that carry what you need. Also have you tried Mid America Motorworks? I know they have them because I ordered a set for mine. Since my chassis is from a 71 beetle, I just ordered the wiper arms and blades for a 71 bug.

Here is a picture of what I have. I think I may have found one online
but the photos are not very clear and I can’t tell for sure so if you
can provide a part number that’d be awesome!July 4, 2012 at 1:50 pm #250994Can’t tell from photo. Is that black spot in the center on top a set screw?
I’ll have access to catalogs in the morning.Bill Ascheman

July 4, 2012 at 8:19 pm #250996I found my repacements at a boat supply. They have alot of stainless steel/alum accessories. Lots of neet stuff for future changes.

Boat supply stores are great resources for a lot of the trim pieces we need!Paul Mossberg

July 5, 2012 at 7:55 am #250998Well, sorry to say, you got me.
After 40 years you’d think you’ve seen all the wierd stuff. Honestly, I’ve
never laid eyes on a configuration like that. If there is a small tab on thearm hidden by that housing on the blade you could use a conventionalVW blade. I have a marine catalog here also but no windshield productslisted. A boat shop may be of some help or else replace both the armsalong with the blades.Bill Ascheman

You cut the bend off the end of the VW wiper arms.
The blade just slips on and is held by the set screw.I am not sure of a source or part number.

thanks for doing the research. Much appreciated. Nice to know there’s an actual part number for future reference.
July 5, 2012 at 10:19 pm #251003Are these the wiper blades that everyone is using as opposed to the stock VW wiper blades? I ask because the ones for my 71 are way different.
