Welcome aboard!  There are assembly manuals posted on this site, just click on the “Download Manuals” button.  It all depends on the manufacturer of your kit.  You will find lots of helpful and knowledgeable folks on this forum. 

Boat store sounds like a possible winner.  I guess I’ll look around for one of those and see what I can find.

I got the end caps, it’s just the rubber.  I’ve looked on the internet but haven’t found anything close yet and the local auto parts, Napa and Pep Boys, are just about useless.  

Kind of off topic but I do want to comment on something John the American said.  My FF’s wires are all the same color as well.  Light blue.  I think FF may have made their wiring harnesses all from the same color wire.

I just went through the replacement tank process.  Like you, I have a FiberFab titled in 1983 so I assume that you will be using the same tank that I did.

Thanks for the encouragement, guys!  It’s back on the road, the voltage regulator was the culprit.  Got a new one in and now almost everything is back to normal.  I am really disappointed that we couldn’t get to Carlisle but there”s always next year.

It’s a BCW, they are supposed to be really nice and closest repro of the original MG.  I haven’t seen one in person, maybe this week at Carlisle, but I’ve read that they were really well made.  This has been posted before but here it is again FWIW: http://www.caroholic.com/BCW_Information.htm.
