The cylinder was simply bolted to fiberglass. It now has 1/2” of solid plastic holding it. (Steel? We don’t need no stinking steel!)

Congratulations! Let the fun begin!

Installed the side panels and front grille today. Got the clutch adjusted. I was going to take new photos with the car looking a little more “high tea” and a little less “Thunderdome” but I pushed the clutch master through the firewall. Limped it home. Time for some steel.

Laughed my ass off for a good 10 minutes. Thanks.

Finally, it has seen the light of day. It’s been cooped up in the garage since last August.

That’s actually fresh wet paint. It will level out as it dries.

OK. Here’s the current state of the hood and side panels. Trying to find time with everything else going on is becoming increasingly difficult.

Some wet sanding and a couple more coats and we can finish the fenders and begin assembly.

I have never been able to pull photos from my iPhone or iPad. The only method that works is to transfer your photos to a desktop and import them from there.
